Backyard Kiwi needs ongoing resources

We have funding from national and regional organizations and a fledgling base of local support from Backyard Kiwi Proud Supporters who contribute annually to assist with:
traps, monitoring kiwi, kiwi releases, and the community engagement/connection programme including work on the website, signage, media releases and community events.
The ongoing injection of funds and more importantly interest and enthusiasm in what is being achieved is central to the future of Kiwi recovery.

For a minimum of $500 annually

Become a Proud Supporter and receive:

• Acknowledgment on www.backyardkiwi.org.nz
• Use of the BYK Proud Supporters logo for web and email
• A website link on www.backyardkiwi.org.nz -this is a popular website with 300+ hits every month
• Regular updates on monitored birds and action on the ground
• Priority invitation to kiwi releases and opportunity where possible to name a kiwi chick
